About Me

For most of my life, I've pursued a creative path. Beginning in the music industry as a singer/songwriter, my music career's pinnacle was to realize a personal goal of creating a solo album. I wanted to share a personal and intimate journey into my life. The project went on to become a critically acclaimed work in the genre of Americana. Shortly after this, I was introduced to handweaving. Maybe I should say "re-introduced" as this ancient craft was first brought to my attention as a child watching an episode of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. In that episode he visits the village weaver. That segment of watching a pattern emerging from the intersection of threads never left my imagination, but it would take many decades to meet my first weaving teacher. It has taken some experimentation to pair painting and handweaving together to form my own vision. I constantly think of new ways to present this. So what about this eye? Yes, it is an element that I feature often. "Windows of Moment", I call them. So often an image I glimpse just for a second, in nature, teaches me so much. I want to share it.
